YOUR KIDS HAVE A HOME AT SUMMIT CHURCH!
We love children at Summit! Sunday mornings are packed full of activities for children.
School age children (K – 5) are in the children’s program during the whole service. One week per month we have a Family service where the children remain in the service and receive a special activity box to work on during the service.
There is a a nursery for children up to age 2.
NURSERY (6 – 24 months)
It is our desire that by having a safe space to play, explore and be cared for by a dedicated group of volunteers that our littlest ones will experience the deep and abiding love of Jesus. This is more than just babysitting or daycare, its relationship building.
Your little one is welcome to stay and play. We would love to have them! We recognize that often times, at this age, it can be challenging for our kids to be away from their parents. We are willing to work with families to make this as enjoyable an experience as possible for the whole family.
PRESCHOOL (2 – 4 YEARS OLD)
Each week, preschool Pathfinders learn about God and basic principles of love through a variety of fun and engaging activities. By providing a safe and fun environment, your little one will learn that church community is a place for them to belong and grow in their relationship with God and with others. Our committed, godly volunteers strive to build relationships with your child so that they have other adults who they can count on. Friendships are formed in Pathfinders too – friendships that can last a lifetime!
Kindergarten – grade 5
We want to partner with you to help your child discover and grow a lifelong authentic relationship with Jesus Christ. Every Sunday, K-Grade 5 Pathfinders will focus on things like how to read the Bible, how to talk to God, and what it means to be the church in ways that are fun, engaging and
Awesome! We’re so glad you’ve chosen to join us! We will meet your family, check your child into our registration system, and one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.
We will ask for the following personal information: family members’ names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number, email, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.
You and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your family’s unique identification code will appear on the screen in the auditorium. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a staff member or team member who will bring your child to you.
