Our Purpose:
Summit exists to guide all people to a lifelong authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our Mission:

Prayer:
We believe that communicating with God is essential to everything we say and do. (Col.4:2).
Care:
We believe that living in community means being intentionally involved in each others lives in accountable and encouraging relationships. As a result of this, we believe that life change happens best when it’s shared together and supporting one another towards spiritual growth. (Heb. 10:24-25)
Share:
We believe in serving and building relationships with those that don’t yet know God as a means of communicating the Gospel though word and deed, both locally and globally. (Matt.28:19-20)
Dare:
We are a people with vision and willing to take faith steps when prompted by the Spirit to move towards God’s goal. (2 Cor. 5:7)
What we Believe
We believe in God as eternal Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
God created and sustains the universe. The eternal purpose of God the Father is to create a people who will bring glory to God forever. God alone is worthy of worship.
We believe that God became human in Jesus Christ.
Jesus came to restore the world because humans rejected God in disobedience. Jesus taught and modelled the way of God’s kingdom. He died on the cross, making it possible for us to accept a renewed relationship with God. He rose from the dead, broke the power of sin and death, and frees us to live in obedience to God’s will.
We believe that God the Holy Spirit invites all people to be reconciled with God and to join the global family of faith.
Believers confess their faith, are baptized, and join in the celebration of the Lord’s Supper. Through the power of the Holy Spirit and guided by the Bible, members of the church seek to live as followers of Christ and invite others to experience this new life.
As Christians, we are called to turn:
from ignorance of God to a personal relationship with God
from bondage of sin and past mistakes to freedom, forgiveness, and healing
from individualism to interdependence with others in the local church
from lifestyle choices that harm us, others, and the earth to choices that nurture wholeness, healing, joy, and peace
from hating enemies and ignoring neighbours to showing love and justice to all
from loving possessions to sharing with all in need
from aimless existence to a mission of representing and proclaiming God’s kingdom on earth
As Christians, we look forward to the day when God will once again send Jesus to bring all things under God’s eternal rule. What a day that will be!
Our Sundays
YOU ARE WELCOME HERE
Wherever you are in your relationship with Jesus, there is a place for you at Summit; that’s why the first thing you should experience when you walk in the door is a friendly “hello.” Our greeters are there to help you out. Feel free to ask them questions so you can make yourself at home!
MUSIC
What gathering or celebration would be complete without music? We use music to honour who God is and celebrate what He is doing.
SUMMIT KIDS
We offer age specific children’s ministry programs alongside our Sunday morning gatherings for children from birth to grade 5. At their own age and stage, they will hear the truths of the Bible in ways that they can understand, relate and begin to build their own life long relationship with God.
TEACHING TIME
Each week we dive into the Bible together, looking at what it has to say and how we can apply it to our everyday lives.
YOUTH MINISTRY
Youth are valued at Summit. Students are involved on a Sunday morning by serving in an area of their gifting, participating in our Sunday morning gatherings or, for junior high, spending time together with their peers talking about living the ways of Jesus during Conversations.
PRAYER
We believe that the prayers of His people are powerful and effective. Each Sunday morning, we have people available to pray with you before and following the service. Please contact us for prayer below or we have prayer request cards available for you to leave for our prayer team.
